Meet the Founder
I started my career in education, and I didn’t leave because I stopped loving the work. I left because I kept seeing incredibly talented people give their all inside systems that didn’t fully recognize their value. I felt pulled toward helping leaders create workplaces where people are empowered to be and do their best and where that employee experience, in turn, fuels the company’s success.
That calling deepened during my time at Big Think+, where I worked with the research of Robert Waldinger, who led Harvard’s longest running happiness study, and Tiffani Bova, author of The Experience Mindset. Waldinger’s research highlights how profoundly our work lives shape our overall well-being. And Bova’s findings make the business case that when employees feel supported and engaged, customers are more satisfied and businesses perform better.
The more I worked inside growing organizations, the clearer my focus became. Founders and CEOs are asked to carry enormous external pressure while scaling product, revenue, and brand. Meanwhile, the deeply important internal culture can easily fall behind. I founded Kidera Culture Consulting to help leaders of mission-driven companies build strong, healthy foundations early, so their people and their businesses can succeed together.
